HOW TO PLAY — HANK’S TABLE RULES
Beat Hank’s total without going over 21. Number cards count their value; faces count 10. An Ace counts 1 or 11, whichever gives the best total without busting. A two-card Ace plus a ten-value card is a natural Blackjack; it pays 3:2 and beats an ordinary 21. Both natural Blackjacks push.
Six full decks, shuffled with browser cryptographic randomness. Cards stay in the tracked shoe between hands. When fewer than 104 cards remain, the full shoe is shuffled before the next deal, never during an active round. The hole card stays hidden until Hank checks for Blackjack or plays his hand. With an Ace showing, choose or decline insurance first. With a ten-value card showing, Hank checks immediately. No player actions occur before those checks.
HIT takes another card. STAND finishes your hand. DOUBLE requires two cards and enough available chips to match your hand’s wager; it doubles the stake, deals exactly one card and stands. Doubling after splitting is allowed. Dealer draws through 16 and stands on every 17, including soft 17. Busts lose; equal totals push. No surrender.
SPLIT requires a two-card equal-value pair and chips for a second matching wager. Different ten-value cards may split. Non-Ace pairs may split again, up to four hands total. Play the highlighted hand. Split Aces get one additional card per hand, stand immediately and cannot be split again. Twenty-one after any split is a regular 21, not a natural Blackjack.
Insurance costs half the original wager and is a separate optional bet when Hank shows an Ace. It pays 2:1 if Hank has a natural Blackjack; otherwise it loses. Main-hand wins, pushes and losses are calculated separately. Insurance is not required. Half-chip balances are normal because of insurance and 3:2 Blackjack payouts.
Choose chips to build a wager; −5 removes chips and CLEAR BET removes the entire draft wager. REBET restores the last opening wager if affordable, then press DEAL. The 5–500 limit applies to the opening wager per hand; splitting and doubling can increase the total committed across a round. No wager or extra stake may exceed your available balance. With fewer than 5 chips left, a free reset to exactly 1,000 is available between hands.
Statistics count each resolved split hand separately. Natural Blackjacks include a natural that pushes against Hank’s natural. Biggest single-hand win is profit after that hand’s stake, excluding insurance; the round result includes insurance. A push preserves your win streak; a loss ends it. Split results are counted left to right. Highest balance includes free refills.

Sound and Hank’s remarks are optional.
