You know the one.
People have been asking me for a while whether I'm gay.
I finally sat down and answered it.
Problem is, once I started answering questions, I didn't shut the hell up.
I started talking about growing up. Construction. My marriage. Being Tucker's dad. Relationships. Sex. Getting older. What scares me. What I believe about God. The people who made me who I am. And some things I've never really talked about before.
What was supposed to be me answering a few questions somehow turned into 77 pages of my life.
So yeah.
The answer's in there.
But it turns out there's a hell of a lot more to me than the answer to one question.

THE ANSWER'S IN THERE.
SO IS A HELL OF A LOT MORE.

I was just gonna answer some questions. People have asked me about construction, being a dad, why I don't date, what makes me happy, what I'm afraid of, what turns me on, what I believe in, and a whole bunch of other shit.
There are things in here I've talked about before, things I've only touched on, and a few things I've never really talked about at all.
It ain't an autobiography. It ain't some inspirational book where I'm gonna tell you how to live your life either. It's just me.
The questions started it. The stories are where it ended up.
Growing up. Construction. Marriage. Fatherhood. Relationships. Sex. Getting older. Money. Fear. Independence. God. And some shit I'm still trying to figure out.
77 pages. All of it Joe.

"I just want Tucker to remember that I was real with him.
I suspect a lot of parents want their kids to remember them in some mystical, up-on-a-pedestal kinda way. I don't.
I'm not perfect. I got a hell of a lot of flaws.
Thing is, when Tucker gets older and starts to question his own flaws, I want him to be able to look back on mine and know it's normal.
I don't want him to be a carbon copy of me.
But I want him to know that Dad did his best. Dad always had his back. Even as fucked up as I can be, I always tried to do what was right by him."
— Joe

This isn't a course. It isn't a motivational book. And I'm sure as hell not gonna tell you I've figured life out.
It's 77 pages of me sitting down and answering things honestly.
Some of it's funny. Some of it's personal. Some of it got a hell of a lot more serious than I expected.
If you've been hanging around with me for a while and ever wondered who the hell the guy behind all these posts actually is, I guess this is your answer.
You asked the questions.
I ended up telling you my life.
Some of it you've heard before.
Some of it you haven't.
And some of it I wasn't expecting to tell anybody.
